How often will I get a Reward Certificate?

Each time you earn 300 points, or spend $300, you'll earn a $10 reward certificate. Certificates will be emailed to you on a weekly basis. In order to make sure you receive these emails, please make sure that you add customerservice@sportchaletnews.com to your contact list so that the email is not blocked. If you don't have an email account you will receive your Reward Certificates via US Mail. Certificates are mailed on a monthly basis.

How do I print out my Reward Certificate?

Simply open the email, click on the image and print.

What if I can't view the image?

If you cannot view the image please look for the sentence above where the image should be that reads "If you cannot view the images or text click here." Click on the click here and the image should appear.

I just made a large transaction a few days ago. Can I just use my membership card to redeem my points?

Your purchase will become reward points within 7 days of the transaction posting to our system. When your account reaches 300 points, you'll earn a $10 reward certificate. Certificates are emailed to you on a weekly basis (this may take 7-10 days depending on where your transaction falls within the information cycle). You must use the reward certificate to redeem your points.

Why can't I use my expired Reward Certificate?

Reward certificates are valid for 90 days from issuance. The register will not accept the certificate numbers after the expiration date.

How do I print my Reward Certificate if I deleted it from my email?

Log on to www.Action Pass™ .com and Click on THE PASS. Scroll down to My Account and go to "Don't have a User Name/Password"? Click to create a User Name/Password (6 characters or more, numbers or letters). On the left of the screen click on Rewards/History and you will see your reward information. Click on the Red highlighted numbers (19 digits) and print out your certificate.

What if I lost my Reward Certificate?

Click to create a User Name/Password (6 characters or more, numbers or letters), then on the left of there screen click on Rewards/History. You will see your reward information. How do I create my Username and Password?

Log on to www.actionlpass.com and Click on THE PASS, My Account and go to "Don't have a User Name/Password"? Click to create a User Name/Password (6 characters or more, numbers or letters).

I forgot my Username/Password. How do I find out what it is?

Just follow these easy steps and we'll send you an email with the information. Log on to www.Action Pass™ .com , click on THE PASS, My Account, then click on "Forgot Password". Enter your email address into the popup window, then press OK. Or, call 866-630-2425 to get Username then go to www.Action Pass™ .com to get the Password.

Can I view my account online?

Yes. Go to www.Action Pass™ .com and go to THE PASS, My Account.

Can I add transactions?

Unfortunately, no.

How can I update the information on my account?

Go to www.Action Pass™ .com and go to THE PASS, My Account. Enter your login and password to view your account details. If you do not have a login and password, follow the instructions to set them up.

Can I use my Reward Certificate online?

Not at this time, but this is coming soon!

Can I transfer my points to my friend's account?

Unfortunately not. Rewards are specific to each Action Pass™ membership.

How do I combine my spouse's account with mine?

Call Action Pass™ Customer Service at 866-630-2425 or stop in to your local Sport Chalet store and speak with a customer service representative.

Do I need my membership card to add the transactions to my account?

If you are shopping in a Sport Chalet store you can simply give the cashier your telephone number. They will look up your Action Pass™ account information and finish the transaction.

How do I get the transaction added to my account if I forgot to tell the cashier?

If you have made a purchase without your Action Pass™ member information, and still have your receipt, you can stop by any Sport Chalet store and ask a team member to assist you. They will take a copy of your receipt, fill out your information on an Action Pass™ adjustment card, and a Sport Chalet bookkeeper will enter the transaction at the store level. Or, call Action Pass™ Customer Service at 866-630-2425.

Do I have to use the entire amount of the Reward Certificate when I redeem it?

Yes. Reward certificates have a one time use and must be surrendered in full at the time of purchase.

Can I have more then one phone on my account?

Yes, you may have up to two telephone numbers on your Action Pass™ account.

Will my personal information be sold to any one?

No. Please, rest assured the information you provide to Sport Chalet is for internal use only.

I don't have email any more. How do I get my Reward Certificate?

If you do not have an email account you will receive your Reward Certificate(s) via US Mail. Certificates are mailed on a monthly basis.

How many points do I need to earn a Reward Certificate?

Each time you spend $300, which equals 300 points, you will earn a $10 reward certificate.

Do I lose my points if I don't earn 300 point right away?

No. Nor do your accumulated points expire. However, if there is no purchase activity on your account after six months the account will be "frozen". To reinstate your account, simply make a purchase at any Sport Chalet location, or contact Customer Service at 866-630-2425. Again, no points will be lost.

I have SPAM Blocker or Firefox. How will I get my Reward Certificates and Sport Chalet ads?

If you have SPAM blockers you must turn them off so that you may print your reward certificates and receive Sport Chalet communications. If you have FIREFOX, you will need to go through Safari, Yahoo, Google or Internet Explorer to access www.actionpass.com. To allow emails and ads in to your mailbox simply add customerservice@sportchaletnews.com to your Contacts list.

Can I give my Reward Certificate as a gift?

Although we do not encourage this, yes you can give your Reward Certificate as a gift to someone else. However, the original member must sign the Reward Certificate prior to gifting and the expiration date still applies.

Can my family member's use my membership card?

Yes. You can have up to three family members on the same account. This is an excellent way for you to accumulate points faster and keep track of the account.
