How Plastic Bottles Become Champion ECO™ Fleece

Recycled plastic bottles are sorted and thoroughly cleaned.
The cleaned bottles are crushed and chopped into tiny flakes.
The flakes are then melted and spun into fiber.
The new soft fiber is knitted into a soft wearable fabric.
This EcoSmart® recycled fiber blend is used to make Champion ECO™ Fleece.

Champion ECO Fleece Utilizes Future Friendly Materials and Fabrication

Champion has reinvented the fleece and sweatshirt with Champion ECO™ Fleece, capitalizing on EcoSmart® technology and future friendly materials. Champion ECO™ Fleece is made from 5% recycled polyester from water bottles, with each item recycling the equivalent of approximately one 20 oz. plastic bottle.
