The Sawyer® Complete 4 Liter Water Filtration System

When your water source is not near your campsite, or when you are hiking long distances between water sources, take this gravity powered filtration system for up to 4 liters of water at a time. You simply fill the dirty water bladder at the water source, and let it flow through the filter into the clean bladder there or at your campsite. You can also use the filter with any other hydration system that uses a 3/8" hose with our quick release adaptor. The clean water bag (blue) can double as your hydration bladder, therefore eliminating a lot of weight from your pack. When you need extra water, you can refill and carry the dirty water bag (gray) for later treatment, thus increasing your capacity to 8 liters. With this filter you get excellent flow rate filtering 4 liters in as little as 3 minutes. (Flow rates may vary depending on altitude and other factors.) With 98% of the water flow passing through the hollow fiber membranes, it is a very fast flowing filter. The design of the filter also allows you to back wash and reuse the filter over and over again, thus virtually making this the last filter you will ever need to buy as long as you follow the care and use instructions.
