The Magellan eXplorist 310 Angler Edition GPS receiver comes packed with tons of helpful navigation features. The eXplorist 310 is pre-loaded with World Edition maps which includes a complete road network of North America and Europe major roads throughout the rest of the world. The unique World Edition map also includes water features, urban and rural land use and city centers. The Angler Edition adds Fishing Hot Spots (3 lake download) featuring 4000 lakes and waterways with detailed shorelines and depth contours. Provided are: Lake physical and bio-logical make-up, highly successful locations, primary game baits, lures, colors and seasons for each POI. A vibrant QVGA color screen allows for best readibility in direct sunlight. The SirfIII GPS chipset provides accuracy of 10-15 feet (3-5 meters). Powered by two AA battreies, the 310 will give up to 18 hours of usage. The eXplorist 310 is rugged and IPX-7 waterproofed. The 310 provides a compass and map on the same screen. Paperless geocaching is supported as well as top features like track summary, elevation gained or lost and complete travel time.
